FAQ

Questions, answered.

What people usually want to know before they walk in. If yours is not covered, ring us or send the form.

I have never trained before — is that a problem?
It is the norm, not the exception. A large share of our room started with no background at all. Every class covers the fundamentals, and coaches put newcomers with partners who will look after them.
What do I need to bring?
Shorts or joggers, a t-shirt, and water. Leave anything with zips or pockets at home. Shoes come off at the edge of the mat. We keep loaner gloves for first-timers in striking classes.
What does the $99 trial include?
Thirty days, every discipline on the timetable, no restrictions. Pay once online and train as often as the schedule allows for the full month.
What ages do you teach?
Kids classes run from age 5 to 14. Adult classes are open to anyone 15 and up, at any level of experience.
Which discipline should I start with?
Whatever you are curious about. Your trial covers everything, so come try them all and see what sticks — ask any coach and they will point you toward the classes that fit your goals.
Do I have to buy gear?
Not for a while. We lend gloves so you can try striking. If you stick with it you will want your own gloves and wraps, and a gi for jiu-jitsu. Ask any coach before you spend money — they will tell you what is worth buying.
Where are you, and where do I park?
Suite 110 at 21240 Ridgetop Circle, just off Route 28 in Sterling. Tan awning, glass doors, unit number on the brick. There is a lot directly in front of the building.
What happens when the month is up?
We talk about what you enjoyed and how often you can realistically train, then match a membership to that. Call or send the form and we will walk you through the options.
